The City of Round Rock, Texas was entering a new chapter—literally. With a state-of-the-art library building under construction, they wanted a brand that matched their evolution. This wasn’t just about a new logo; it was about creating an identity that celebrated community, welcomed everyone, and stood the test of time.

As a cornerstone of Round Rock, the library is more than books on shelves. It’s a space for connection, learning, and growth—a place where families gather, students study, entrepreneurs build, and cultures come together. Their mission is to provide access to knowledge, foster personal development, and adapt to the needs of a changing world.

A shiny new building deserved a brand to match, but the library’s audience couldn’t be defined by a single demographic. It serves everyone—kids, seniors, tech enthusiasts, small business owners, lifelong learners, and more.

The challenge was to create a visual identity that was modern yet timeless, sophisticated yet approachable, and flexible enough to resonate with such a broad community.

Through in-depth discovery, a brand was crafted to reflects Round Rock’s growth and spirit. The logo features subtle nods to the new building and the city itself, while its layered design invites multiple interpretations—just like the library experience. A warm, city-inspired color palette ensures harmony with the municipal brand, and the overall look strikes a balance between professional and inviting. The result? An identity that feels personal to every visitor and proudly represents the future of Round Rock Public Library.
