Since 1917, Sigma Delta Tau Sorority has prioritized inclusivity and individuality, creating a space where each sister can shine as her best self. For over 100 years, Sigma Delta Tau has remained dedicated to its collegiate members, alumnae, volunteers and donors by establishing a sisterhood that offers personal and professional development opportunities while encouraging women’s empowerment.
The brand was revealed during the Sorority’s National Convention on June 27, 2024, and was met with positive feedback from those in attendance and those watching online. The new brand has sparked a renewed connection to the Sorority and will light the way for Sigma Delta Tau members to continue carrying the torch as they Shine as One.

The new brand has sparked a renewed connection to the Sorority and will light the way for Sigma Delta Tau members to continue carrying the torch as they Shine as One.

To ensure the Sorority continues to shine, it was essential to create a brand identity that would resonate with all members, while still holding its history at its center. With that in mind, we developed a new tagline, logo designs, business systems, branded templates, an animated launch video and a website.




The Torch features elements significant to the Sorority’s history and ritual: a water droplet, tea rose and the Star of David.


A new tagline was developed to show that when all members come together and bring their strengths, skills and unique lights to the table, the Sorority, in turn, will Shine as One.




To create a holistic and consistent brand experience, the Sigma Delta Tau Sorority logomark was altered to create a sister mark for the Foundation. This mark is unique to the Foundation with the presence of its additional wording, but also similar enough to the Sorority mark that it upholds and maintains brand recognition between the two entities.

Along with the launch of the brand, a new website was designed and developed. This site introduced an enhanced user experience, featuring easy-to-navigate pages that are as functional as they are beautiful. With shining moments such as glimmering golden buttons and subtle animations incorporated throughout the pages, the sisterhood of Sigma Delta Tau radiates through the new website.

The brand was officially announced with an animated launch video highlighting the future of the Sorority, while also reflecting on the impact that the sisterhood of Sigma Delta Tau has made on its members over the years.
